Power Tool Safety

I wanted to create some basic information for safety since I see so many people getting hurt with their tools.  If you just follow these basic instructions and simple task, you can save yourself a lot of time, money and pain.

• Read Instruction
• Make sure the tool is unplugged any time you change the blade or bit
• Use a push stick and save your fingers for table saws
• Always use the blade guard
• Wear eye protection
• Wear ear protection
• Always make sure you are using the correct blade or bit for the job
• Always make sure the blade or bit is sharp
• Make sure you always have a first aid kit that is up to date
• Make sure you have a fire extinguisher near by that is full.  Try to buy one that is for A-B-C type of fires.
